Notifiable diseases

According the Communicable Diseases Act and the Communicable Diseases Ordinance a number of diseases are notifiable in Sweden. 

The notifiable diseases also fall into different categories: subject to mandatory contact tracing, dangerous to public health and dangerous to society.
